Yinhe Sun Pro – Deepening Our Understanding of Our Star with a Second Solar Probe
Introduction:
The Yinhe Sun Pro, also known as the Chinese Solar Probe II or Shenzhou-1301S, is China’s second solar probe
designed to study the Sun up close. The mission is still in its development phase, building upon the knowledge
gained from the Yinhe Sun mission.

**Mission Objectives:**
The main objective of the Yinhe Sun Pro mission is to further investigate the Sun’s magnetic field, plasma, and
coronal dynamics. This information is crucial for understanding solar activity and its impact on Earth,
particularly during periods of increased solar activity such as solar storms.
**Spacecraft Design:**
Similar to the Yinhe Sun, the spacecraft will be equipped with advanced instruments such as magnetometers,
spectrometers, and cameras. However, it will also feature new technologies designed to withstand even higher
temperatures and radiation levels than its predecessor.
